¿Les pasó en alguna ocasión cuando estaban pequeñas, donde tomaron una revista de las tantas que sus madres compraban, vieron la portada y pensaron que querían ser como la modelo? Ese mismo pensamiento me pasa cada vez que me topo con una imagen de Laetitia Casta de quien me di cuenta, años después, que es francesa, explicando el origen de su belleza.

Quienes como yo siguen de cerca las campañas de las casas de moda la recordarán por el vídeo publicitario para Dolce & Gabbana's Pour Femme Fragance, otros tal vez la miraron hace un par de años en el vídeo Te Amo de Rihanna.

A lo largo de su exitosa carrera, Laetitia ha sido fotografiada por Mario Testino (a quien debo rendirle un post de tributo), Karl Lagerfeld, Driu & Tiago, Mert & Marcus, Paul Schmidt, Sebastian Faena, Terry Richardson y más.

Did ever happened to you when you were a kid and took a magazine from your mom's collection, saw the cover & wanted to be just like the model? Everytime i see a picture of  Laetitia Casta i remember those moments. Years later i knew she was French explaining th origin of her beauty.

Lunes, lunes, lunes, ¿cuánto(as) de ustedes la semana pasada dijeron: "El lunes comienzo la dieta", "el lunes hago ejercicio"? Confieso que he dicho eso ¡jajaja!

Marc Jacobs + Coca Cola Light

Cuando hay cooperaciones entre grandes empresas (no relacionadas directamente con la moda) y los diseñadores con mayor renombre, es más que seguro que el resultado será con un alto nivel de creatividad.

En esta ocasión, Marc Jacobs nos trae una campaña con Coca Cola Light luego de ser nombrado Director Creativo reemplazando a Jean Paul Gaultier. ¿Cuál es el producto? Próximos 3  nuevos diseños  para las botellas de la marca que serán lanzados al mercadeo europeo y por si no han visto las imágenes: ¡Marc Jacobs con casi 50 años sin camisa! A nivel personal, creo que EL es el diseñador más guapo que existe, amo sus tatuajes.

This time, Marc Jacobs brings a Coca Cola Light campaign after being named Creative Director replacing Jean Paul Gaultier. What is the product?  3 new designs for the brand's bottles to be launched for the European people & in case you haven't seen the pictures: Marc Jacobs with almost 50 years without a shirt! On a personal level, I think he is the most handsome designer, I love his tattoos.

Un 2013 Esmeralda ~ An Emerald 2013

Adiós hermoso color mandarina, abran paso al Esmeralda y vayan acostumbrando su vista a ver las pasarelas llenas de este elegante color símbolo de delicadeza, elegancia y buena suerte y que, según Pantone, nos brinda una sensación de bienestar,equilibrio y armonía.
Creo que tengo poco o nada en mi guardarropa que sea esmeralda, sin embargo con tan sólo navegar un rato y encontrarme con estas piezas tan únicas me dan ganas de tenerlas.

DIY Projetc: Earrings

There's no secret how much i love accessories & the bigger the better, pleaseee!

Long time ago my mom went through a jewelry obsessive period (& i was sooo mad, right? JA!).

First (obviously) she experienced doing earrings & stuff to me, suddenly she was all an expert!

A few months ago i wanted to show you an easy DIY project, my mom has made several similar designs especially with buttons (my idea). Recently i visited a mall & i got lost between such beauties featuring a jewelry store. You can try & design as much as you want & have fun with a tight or a lot of budget.

No es secreto para nadie cuanto adoro los accesorios y entre más grandes mejor, por favor!

Hace algún tiempo mi mamá entró en una fase obsesiva por la bisutería (y yo muuuuy enojada verdad?) Primero (obviamente) experimentó haciendo cosas para mí y de repente ya era toda una experta!

Hace días quería mostrarles un simple "hazlo tú misma" proyecto, mi mamá me ha hecho ya varios diseños parecidos especialmente con botones. Recientemente hice una visita a un centro comercial y me dejé llevar por las piedras que ofrecía un local de bisutería. Pueden probar tanto como ustedes deseen, con poco o mucho presupuesto!

What you need  /   Qué necesitas  

- A pair of stones (depends on the design you want), Personally i was looking a pair of wood earrings & on the other hand i'm madly in love with everything that has nacre <3.
- Silver / Gold bases for earrings

- Glue (there's a special one for this type of proyects, you'll need to ask on the jewelry store)

- Un par de piedras (depende del diseño que quieras), personalmente andaba en busca de algo con madera y lo encontré! También me vuelvo loca con todo lo referente a concha nácar <3
- Bases para pendientes ya sea en plata o en oro.
- Pegamento (hay un tipo especial de pegamento para este tipo de proyectos, tendrás que preguntar en la tienda de bisutería).

The process / El proceso

As easy as sound, the only thing you need to do is paste the bases to the stones, let them dry enough & Voilà!

Tan fácil como suena, lo único que debes hacer es pegar las bases a las piedras, dejarlas secar lo suficiente y ya!
