Hello daaarlings! I'm currently having issues deciding when do i have to stop shopping f/w stuff. (PFFFF! i'd wish those words were true, back to reality!!!).
I'm going crazy (for real) 'cause there's so many beautiful things out there!
These are my fav campaigns for this season & specially the shoes i'm dreaming of.
There's no secret how much i love accessories & the bigger the better, pleaseee!
Long time ago my mom went through a jewelry obsessive period (& i was sooo mad, right? JA!).
First (obviously) she experienced doing earrings & stuff to me, suddenly she was all an expert!
A few months ago i wanted to show you an easy DIY project, my mom has made several similar designs especially with buttons (my idea). Recently i visited a mall & i got lost between such beauties featuring a jewelry store. You can try & design as much as you want & have fun with a tight or a lot of budget.

Hace algún tiempo mi mamá entró en una fase obsesiva por la bisutería (y yo muuuuy enojada verdad?) Primero (obviamente) experimentó haciendo cosas para mí y de repente ya era toda una experta!
Hace días quería mostrarles un simple "hazlo tú misma" proyecto, mi mamá me ha hecho ya varios diseños parecidos especialmente con botones. Recientemente hice una visita a un centro comercial y me dejé llevar por las piedras que ofrecía un local de bisutería. Pueden probar tanto como ustedes deseen, con poco o mucho presupuesto!
What you need / Qué necesitas
- A pair of stones (depends on the design you want), Personally i was looking a pair of wood earrings & on the other hand i'm madly in love with everything that has nacre <3. - Silver / Gold bases for earrings
- Glue (there's a special one for this type of proyects, you'll need to ask on the jewelry store)
- Un par de piedras (depende del diseño que quieras), personalmente andaba en busca de algo con madera y lo encontré! También me vuelvo loca con todo lo referente a concha nácar <3
- Bases para pendientes ya sea en plata o en oro.
- Pegamento (hay un tipo especial de pegamento para este tipo de proyectos, tendrás que preguntar en la tienda de bisutería).
The process / El proceso
As easy as sound, the only thing you need to do is paste the bases to the stones, let them dry enough & Voilà!
Tan fácil como suena, lo único que debes hacer es pegar las bases a las piedras, dejarlas secar lo suficiente y ya!

9 ~ Yesterday i finished "To Selena with love" by Chris Pérez. I'm a huge fan of Selena's. Reading this book showed me that last piece i was missing from her, the married & happy Selena.
As i promised in my last post, i said i was going to show you more about 1991. I must confess that i'm having a terrible fever over this decade!!

forget the Great Gianni Versace? There’s no way we can bo back and not remember
him in the fashion world. His models, designs, campaigns and his life
revolutionized. The 90s had a different feel thanks to the work of this Italian
designer who died in 1997.
I would
love to have a piece of his collections! Someday? I HOPE SO!
¿Cómo no recordar al gran Gianni Versace? Y es que no hay manera de que podamos ir al pasado y no recordarlo en el mundo de la Moda. Sus modelos, diseños, atrevimiento, campañas y su vida, revolucionaron totalmente. Los 90s tuvieron un aire distinto gracias a las creaciones de este gran diseñador italiano quién murió en 1997.
¡Cuánto quisiera tener en mi armario una pieza de sus colecciones! ¿Algún día? OJALÁ

For me,
YSL, is a symbol of elegance, feminism, power & luxuty. YSL is for those
women who dress with confidence & defiance, regardless of gossip.

El diseñador de alta costura que reinó durante años las pasarelas y de quién todas deseaban lucir sus diseños. Sus inicios se remontan en Christian Dior y posteriormente en los años 60s inició su propia firma en donde dió vida al famoso esmoquín para las mujeres.
Para mí YSL, es símbolo de elegancia, feminismo, poder y lujo. Es vestir con seguridad y desafío, sin importar el que dirán.

of the most influential designers that currently exist. Karl took over Chanel
in 1983 and since then has made us dream with couture, cruise & prêt-a-porter
collections.
As you can
see, the 90s were full of color, flashy jewelry, sexy & structured designs.
La casa de moda francesa de la que toda mujer sueña. Karl Lagerfeld a lo largo de los años ha realizado un trabajo exquisito, sin duda alguna, uno de los más influyentes diseñadores que existen en la actualidad. Karl tomó las riendas de Chanel en 1983 y desde entonces nos ha hecho delilar con sus colecciones de alta costura, cruise y pret-a-porter.
Como podrán ver, los años 90s fueron llenos de color, de joyas llamativas, diseños sexys y estructurados.
Yes, that's the year i was born & when the "Super Model" term began to revolutiomize the fashion world. Surely i know that each of these photographs will soar to thee 90s, when leafing through your mom's magazines (in my case "Vanidades") & dreamed of being like those models (yeaah, much like the film 13 going on 30).
All these models were driven by fashion houses like Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, etc., It's particularly special to see how much they acquired by having an unique style & personality and that's how big magazines like Vogue a& Sports Illustrated were important for their careers.
Anyway, enjoy the pictures & if you have such a 90s fever like me & on your Tumblr pages or Pinterest you have a collection of photographs like these, show me them =).
Soon i will make a review of some 1991 collectios, amazing how time flies!

Sí, ese es el año en que nací y en donde el término "Super Modelo" ya empezaba a revolucionar en el mundo de la moda. Con seguridad sé que cada una de estas fotografías les remontará a los 90s, cuando ojeaban las revistas de sus madres (en mi caso Vanidades) y soñaban con ser como esas modelos (muy parecido a la película 13 going on 30).
Todas estas modelos fueron impulsadas por casas como Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, Chanel, etc. Es particularmente especial ver como cada una de ellas fue adquiriendo éxito por el estilo único y su personalidad y así fue como grandes revistas como Vogue y Sports Illustrated marcaron una pauta en sus carreras.
En fin, disfruten de las fotografías y si dentro de sus páginas en Tumblr o Pinterest tienen más por allí, muéstrenmelas! Próximamente haré una reseña de algunas colecciones de 1991, increíble como pasa el tiempo!
Yes, i know. Forgive me for the lack of post, BUT i have a lot to tell!
2012 is treating me well, so far, & part of my non-shows is because i can't find the time to blog due to i'm working right now =). I got a job on December (it was really exciting until the end) but things went not what i expected and then i had to quit. SURPRISINGLY i got a new job just hours later JAA =D! So, believe me, i don't have a "life" right now but i love it.
On the other hand (fashion-related) there are so many sales at SPS & for me right now is all about nude color... i'm truly in love with nude pumps, wedges and peep-toes! It's an amazing way to give the "endless" legs effect.
