The talented actresses/designers/fashion icons MaryKate & Ashley Olsen who recently designed a limited edition of cashmere Toms in collaboration with their on label The Row, visited the outsides of Tegucigalpa (the capital of my country Honduras) to be part of an amazing project, giving a pair of shoes to those children who need it the most.
"Having the opportunity to be a part of something so meaningful has made the collaboration with Toms special to everyone at The Row," Mary-Kate told WWD.
The collaboration between Toms & The Row consist of: for every pair of TOMS + The Row shoes sold, a child in need will receive a new pair of shoes. Let me remind you these shoes are available for $140-$150.
When I heard the news I was so excited! The media went crazy because nobody knew, at that moment, why they were here. When artists/singers/designers or actresses & actors visit our country, we tend to treat them as they were in their home.
It's so cool from them (I most confess they're one my fashion icons) to take time of their busy life & to be able to help those who needs love, money, hugs, shoes or clothes. So, this is one more reason to love them, for many years they've been inspired me & the fact the came here & know the existence of my beautiful country is so refreshing!
